Death Valley, California, USA - summer 2007. This can has seen better days.. If the drops weren't already much cherished by the former owner of this can, the heat of the desert would have evaporated any liquid it held.

Even though it was early when we crossed the desert, warned by numerous stories of the incredible heat this area is famous for, it was slightly cloudy and not that bad with temperatures rising just above 105 F around 11 am and allowing us to explore bits of this national park by foot, rather by airconditioned car... ;)

One of the many beautiful places we were able to find at Yosemite. this was a small river near the main centre of the park. It had a lovely bridge crossing this stream and i couldnt help making a picture here... I personally love this picture a lot due to the extend of the many things that can be discovered while you let your eye wonder...

we were on vacation here in the summer of 2007 and enjoyed our time in Yosemite very much. Especially the many lakes and the mountains that formed an incredible beautiful landscape.

yesterday it was our 4th anniversary of being a couple... This was taken on our first trip together in the summer of 2007 after having spend a day swimming in a couple of Yosemite's fantastic lakes..

i believe Kaat has a fantastic "on the road" selfie from this day as well..
