A recent trip to the Canberra Botanic Gardens (Canberra, Australia) in an attempt to photograph the bird life was a total failure, but at least this little fellow (Juvenile Water Dragon) was kind enough to pose for me.

Canon 100-400 zoom with fill flash.

I took this one a couple of weeks ago after my brother spotted this colourful bug dining on a dead bee and kindly pointed it out to me after taking his own shot.
Hand held with a Tamron 90mm macro (f10, ISO 400). I only managed one shot out of six that was acceptably sharp.

Taken from Ainslie lookout, (Canberra, Australia) during the storms a couple of weeks ago.
Minutes after this was taken the storm hit the lookout full on and myself and several other storm watchers cowered in our cars as the lightning flashed all around us.
Canon 5d2 plus 24-105 L zoom. (F8 at 100 ISO on bulb).
