Asus G53SW-A1 Front View.

Asus G53SW-A1 Front View.

The G53SW has got the award winning but slightly toned down cooling system as the G73/74. Separate exhaust for the CPU and GPU make it a decent workhorse. The Lid though is Super Duper Fingerprint friendly. The material is rubber plastic. the finish is matt. Our fingers emit oil and it immediately sticks to it. Heavy Bang on wall for this.
As you can see the Design is overall a "Stealth Bomber" type. Actually if you compare the Lamborgini and this one you will find similarities. Oh yes.Its a huge Brick. I keep my pressed clothes beneath it not to ruin the Press feel. :P

Editing done in totally Zhang Pang Style.Constantly trying out some wacky stuff. I am on the hunt for a proper background now.

PS: Dont tell me the line edge below should be masked properly. Its not a mask problem. The edge is lit by the strobe on camera left.

Meet my Biggest Acquisition after my camera. This is also sitting in the category of the "Hard Earned Money" type.

I wanted something of a desktop replacement and was on a tight budget. So Alienware was out. the M14x was offered a GT555m. couldnt do. MSI 683 was out of budget. This was fitting perfectly in my budget. Frankly I was not interested in Macbook. Whatever applications I have been running on Windows are running fine. Also the GAP between the Macbook Pro was for me HUGE. So Mac Pro was out.

Finally as of now loving it. It is actually super silent. The Cooling system is working as advertized.the Chiclets type keyboard is fun to use and is soft. Trackpad is like stone. Fortunately the supplied mouse is enough to do things and comes with a built in DPI switch. Also this is one of the few laptops in the budget which has a numpad by default. Its good.the arrow keys are nicely integrated with the numpad.

The palmrest is huge and nice to rest on.the material is hardened rubber plastic.good.

The AOU screen is bright and clear. playing games is a visual treat on FULL HD.

Canon 550D.
Canon 18-55mm

Now When you have Complex light situation and too high contrast areas which Pranav Peshwe pointed out to me while taking the test shots, I had to capture every single aspect so that When I sit to edit it, I have information to pull from.

The first part which we all decided was to keep the car in Shade to avoid overexposure of the car. The Flora is acting as a obstacle for the sunlight which is coming from the left. This position made the entire side panel go into shadows while the hood had sort of a cut off light. Same for the front bumper and grill it was in a way in shadows.

The First Job was to capture the Background plate. so I took a 9 Shot HDR to capture whatever Dynamic Range that was available. The Light is harsh and Flat.Thats why after pulling out the details in the sky which was minimal to the right we have some halos. I have kept that to a minimum. to me it didnt had drama in it. After the background Plate was done, It was time to fill the car in. Saurabh Kulkarni is sitting a notch above camera left holding the Yongnuo 460MKII. His job was to fill in the side panel which had gone into the shadows. Upfront camera left Pranav Phadke was holding another Yongnuo 460MKII.His job was to fill the right headlight, front wheel and a part of the grill. pranav peshwe was controlling the Vivitar 285HV which was on the Camera right.

All the front flashes were at times 1/2 or at Full Power. The Yongnuo 460 at the side was moved between shots to get a uniform lighting pattern.

Hope you enjoyed the detailed explanation.
