Us Baby Bear Bones

Us Baby Bear Bones

Us Baby Bear Bones, playing at Sea Monsters at the Prince Albert 28/1/12.

They were one of the bands I was most looking forward to, but they were beset by technology issues, and weren't quite as magical as when I saw them supporting Laetitia Sadier at the Green Door Store a couple of weeks ago. Still one of the most innovative acts on out of all the bands who played at Sea Monsters though.

An awesome performance. How many bands have a narrator? And how many of those have the narrator wearing an eye patch?

I'm Being Good

I'm Being Good

Brighton band "I'm Being Good", taken at Sea Monsters 2 at the Prince Albert 25/1/12

As much as I love a lot of music, inevitibly there's some I don't like so much, and last night at the Prince Albert was full of that kind of thing. I'm looking forward to things being far more my cup of tea again tonight. There's a blog here with a few more words on the subject, on why a night of music that I'm not so keen on isn't actually a bad thing.
