Drypoint portrait of Jasim Fadel Hamid. Artist Daniel Heyman traveled to Amman, Jordan and Istanbul, Turkey to witness interviews and create portraits of former detainees at Abu Ghraib, with a law firm pursuing a class action suit on behalf of the victims. Heyman drew portraits directly on the copper plate during the interviews, and scratched the testimony on the plate as it occured.

Jasim Fadel Hamid was assassinated one week after the trip to Amman.
