Dirty Three @ WOMADelaide 2012

The incomparable Warren Ellis from the sublime Dirty Three.

Considering they've been around for about 20 years, I've really had no excuse for never having seen them live at some point. But now I have. Seen them live, that is. And what an awesome show they put on. I certainly won't be waiting 20 years to see them again.

Blue King Brown @ WOMADelaide 2012

The stunning Natalie Pa'apa'a from Blue King Brown.

A great set of pipes, wields a mean axe, and fronts an equally stunning band. If these guys are playing anywhere near you in the future, go see them. Thank me later.

Yes, Annie, you can wear the hat, too.

Taken on the day of her second birthday. That's right, she's already two! Oh, and she's also awesome.

One World.

One World.

When seeing this scene on a jaunt with Claude, it reminded me of Escher's Three Worlds. But without the fish and the trees. And the water.

It looked cool enough for us to deviate from our intended path and take a few snaps. In hindsight, I probably should've opted for a larger depth of field.
