I needed "to get out" after work yesterday and even though it was completely overcast I decide to drive over to Virginia Key and take in the ocean breeze. By the time I get to the toll station it was almost sunset time and the sky at the horizon just exploded in color. By the time I managed to pull over and get set up the color was already vanishing, but I still was able to get this.

Here's another shot from Sunday, this was after the sun was up - obviously - and one of the last ones I took before switching lenses and going on the hunt for any wildlife that may cross our path.

Dinner Island Ranch WMA, Clewiston, FL

Ivan and I went to Dinner Island on Saturday morning to meet up with Michael and Heather. We got there way before sunrise, like an hour before sunrise. So this was a shot in the dark - 30 seconds at f/7.1 and ISO-800.

Another weekend over and I didn't do anything. So here's another one from Christmas Eve. These little guys are so cute. This one couldn't quite make up it's mind if we were ok or not. It wasn't particularly shy, but also didn't let us come too close.
