When the lights went out, the North Campground was magical. Silhouetted trees projecting against a blazing night sky.

Taken from the North Campground at Bryce Canyon. I believe the orange blob comes from the nearby town of Tropic. Can't complain too much, though -- this is a 30-second, ISO 12800 shot. In most places you'd end up with a solid white frame given that much exposure.
