how cool! i like the ghostly image of those
people on the horizon! it made me smile to
read that i'm not the only one who takes a
day off from work just to go for a walk on a
sunny day and take some photos ;-)

This is great. My guess is that ball is
quite old. One way to find out how old it is
would be to take it to a golf historian who
may have to cut it open to see what is in the
middle.
We are coming out to the Cape in a few weeks.
Can't wait.
I like your point of view! I saw this great photo in the Two Feet Under group. commented with SICI (2010-09-06) now compatible with the new photo page!!!
I have a gadget for igoogle and this photo
popped up :) How great is it that our ocean's
adapt to whatever it is? The flotsam from the
Japanese quake is starting to show up in
Hawaii and here on the West Coast, cant wait
to see what things like this there are to
find!
Great shot, I have a difficult time getting
these shots so close to the ground
(especially when they are wet!) :)

this is such an interesting shot - especially with the horizon rounding off as a match to the golf ball. adaptation at its finest for sure.

Wow! This nautical golf ball, on the beach, with folks playing beyond, just sums up "vacation" for me. And a very cool, stark composition. Fave.
