Passenger ("52/2012 Week 3" )

On closer inspection, I realised that my Gerbera plant had a passenger. Now I have to keep an eye on the rest of the plant that is over-wintering indoors!

Alien Petal!

A rather large caterpillar emerged from my Gerbera plant bloom! I moved the whole plant to indoors to over-winter, so this caterpillar must have been 'lurking' amongst the leaves or soil in the pot.....?

I cut the stem from the rest of the plant just in case.
