Gaucho is a term commonly used to describe residents of the South
American pampas, chacos or Patagonian grasslands, found principally in
parts of Argentina, Uruguay, Southern Chile.
The word gaucho could be described as a loose equivalent to the North
American "cowboy".

Good grief, just straighten that photo, will you. Please. Shame he has electrics coming out of his head, similarly coloured distractions close by and is smoking a handrail. Just a little more of the paving below his feet would've centered him nicely. Nice strong contrasting white red and blacks. Yes, I agree, great stance too. And the hat beautifully framed between pillars.
