kidjay:
how is buying it on iTunes any different than buying it at the store from a "RIAA is evil" standpoint?

I agree with nanotron. Maybe it would help if Trent stopped singing. I've kind of grown passed his whole 'we are dying' lyrics. I've been listening to nails since I was 9 mind you, I am done with it.

I'm pretty sure I'd have to agree with waydomatic. 10,000 Days was far more inventive than this Hypercolor T-shirt in the round. That goes for the tunes, too.

Year Zero is an amazing concept album. The whole thing was incredible well thought out and the CD packaging/art is no exception. If you've bought the CD and haven't called the USDM hotline yet then you should, it's worth a couple of minutes out of your day.
Can't wait for them to come through Toronto promoting this album!

Massive Attack had a box set which changed colors the same way. It was the Singles 90/98 collection. Very cool..

Nice. I've been wondering what kinds of things artists will do to keep fans buying music in physical packages versus online downloads. This is novel.

This is the kind of things bands have to do today to get anyone to actually buy a CD.

If major label bands were still capable of creating better music, that would "encourage" people to "buy" the CD.
Cool trick, but not worth buying a mediocre-at-best CD...

Unlike other fabricated pop bands of the day, NiN doesn't need gimmicks to sell CDs...

I have an idea:
let your cd cool down then let it run under warm water.
p.s. water doesn't ruin cd's, I clean them under water all the time
