9 Months
These 3 pieces are expressing out the humble purpose of your umbilical cord during your 9 months of development as an individual in your mother’s womb in contrast to that of how your mouth was being used during the darkest of your times.
We use our words through our mouth and this mouth is occasionally used to create immature judgements and irrational conclusions. This has lead to wars, poverty and several injustices based on the colour of your skin, gender, sexual orientation or social class. Our mouth, a tunnel, a passage and exit or an entry that has potential for better changes in the world but we use them regardless of its beauty.
In your mother’s womb for 9 months the umbilical cord gave you love, nutrition, equality through this belly button. A tunnel, a passage and en entry and exist just like how your mouth functions as. The belly button had the purpose of equality and unconditional love unlike how we see our mouth as.
So thus, the belly button here is a symbol representing the potential of the mouth.

This photograph is in remembrance of Vivian Maier, my inspiration for the reason that her street photographs make my day no matter how gloomy the day is.
This photograph is dedicated to her in response to an image she photographed during the 1950's and here is the direct link to the image:
