Following an English Defence League demonstration in Bradford earlier in the day, some EDL supporters were travelling back to Manchester by train and the police were clearly taking no chances. After I took two photos on my phone a Northern Rail security guard (the one with his back turned in this shot) took exception and told me (wrongly) it was against railway byelaws to take photographs without permission. He was backed up by the PCSO in the foreground, who was also unhappy about having his photo taken. Much of the conversation that followed I caught on video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=yt8H7sdRdWU and www.youtube.com/watch?v=7royGQlyTeo
