I drive past this power station (Ratcliffe on Soar, I think) just off the M1 between Derby and Nottingham on many occasions, but as I am normally on the M1 motorway or A50 dual carriageway it is difficult to stop and get a shot. On this occasion I was determined to photograph it, so pulled over, probably somewhere I shouldn't have and got the camera out and quickly put the ND filter on, mounted the camera on the tripod and fired of a few exposures.
In my haste I had the camera on the wrong settings, so a bit of 'adjustment' in photoshop, merging a couple of exposures together and this is the result. For a mistake, I quite like it LOL.
Now that I have found out where to stop, on my next drive past I will make sure I have more time and do the job properly as I think I can get further round to remove the clutter from the foreground. ;-)
Apologies for not being very good at commenting at the moment as I am a bit busy.
