Bicycle tools

    A group of nice old bicycle tools from arround the early 20's or 30's two of them are marked Burgers E.N.R. (Eerste Nederlandse RIjwielfabriek) which means the first Netherlands Bicycle factory.
    I knew that some tools where marked with the name of bicycle brands and where supplied with the bike for maintanance during a cycling tour.Most of the time there was also an small oilcan in the litle bag enclosed. I am searching for an nice toolbag in brown leather for my old Fongers bike which i am restoring on the moment.

      Wat een prachtig gereedschap, mooi gefotografeerd ook.

      Ja zo'n tasje maakt je Fongers wel helemaal af! Lastig om een 'echt' oud exemplaar te vinden, 75 jaar, weer en schimmel in vochtige schuren en tochtige zolders, dat helpt niet. Een replica laten maken kan altijd, of ook zelf doen, als je toch bezig bent. Je mag mijn leerbewerkingsgereedschapskistje wel even lenen.

      hallo, heeft U toevallig geen info i.v.m. Antwerpse fietsenmakers, heb nl. een oude tandem gemaakt in Antwerpen maar ik vind er niets van op het net. Weet mischien nog een oud bruin tasje. Heb tamelijk wat oud fietsgereedschap maar nog geen tijd om te fotograferen. Zit nu ook bij "old tools"
