riparian and Upland Sonoran Desert
habitat about 50km northeast of Phoenix,
Arizona, USA.
Unfortunately the area is heavily threatened by trampling, off-road vehicles, vandalism, man-caused fires, and dumping of refuse. It really needs protection. It is part of the National Forest system. Most people don't care for daily use fees imposed by the US Forest Service, but if protection can be had in return, then it is worth it!
