Absolutely stunning! What a beautiful scene. I just viewed in a larger size, and the detail is just amazing. I highly reccomend that everyone take a look at this photo in larger sizes. The small preview size does not do it justice. Well done!

Not technically perfect, but I like it. It doesn't look like an hdr - it looks like the buildings are lit up. nice, that.

How you mean shopped? It's shopped in the sense that it's HDR (merged + tonemapping). Nothing more.
Enlighten me, what technical issues? (Not saying there aren't any, right, just curious). And btw, indeed it doesn't look very HDR, and the fact that the buildings seem lighted, well...they ARE. :-)
Thanks for the warning and the save. :-)

    Technical issues:

-Pronounced chromatic aberration around hot points.
    -Poor resolution/improper placement of focus
    -Easily fixable noise
    -possibly off white balance
    -rough tones
    -too contrasty

  22. 'SeraphimC (51 months ago | reply)

And don't ever demand anyone elaborate in DMU. You'll get more than you bargained for.

Soon, very soon ...

  26. Adams K. (51 months ago | reply)

    - true, not quite sure how to avoid or correct them.`
    - poor resolution would surprise me, focus indeed, i didn't actually pay any attention to this ;)
    - noise is caused by hdr treatment an indeed could be corrected
    - warmed a little, other than that wb not that off
    - rough tones, not sure what you mean with this
    - this was kinda the idea and it is a very contrasty place (night + spotlights)

And don't mind getting more than i asked for, I like getting smacktalked once in a while ;-)

10 saves = soort hall of fame ;-)
