It was so cool to see some wild horses while out shooting with a Flickr friend Chris www.flickr.com/photos/chrispics51/. Her dog Marley is a fantastic dog and the horses were so curious about him that they came quite close to us to check him out. I missed the shot where they were nose to nose.....damn it! Thank you Chris for sharing this place with me and allowing me to experience seeing them up close and personal:-)).

While visiting Yosemite, I had very few breaks in the lousy weather. Poured rain most of the time and most of my shots were unusable due to raindrops on the lens despite constantly wiping. The clouds were cool but I was really disappointed the weather was so lousy. Guess I'll just have to try again:-))

I had been working on another project and came across some from Alstrom Point overlooking Lake Powell that I had never processed.

This was after a very long bone jarring 4x4 ride and after a great sunset. We spent the night out there and were lucky enough to also have a great sunrise....BONUS! If you look closely at the large version, you can see a few houseboats tied up for the night.

From last years road trip. Extremely difficult to find an area that doesn't have thousands of footprints.

Travel tip---Don't eat at the Mexican place in Beatty!! Even Mike wouldn't eat the crap I was served and he'll eat anything.
