Barcelona - the city of Gaudi.

This was shot along the Barca coast while I was walking around and exploring the city all by myself. The winter sun is long and sets at around 6 in the evening and the sky is a riot of colours in this part of the world!

Saw documentaries and sketched Gaudi's buildings while I was in architecture school and yet again, seeing, touching and walking through those buildings was a high!
Barcelona is a very beautiful and sunny Spanish city and Spain enjoys one of the best winters in the world!

Thanks everyone for the explore after the longest gap ever!! :)

I just got back from a mini Euro trip - Czech Republic, Germany, Spain and France.

Having read about it since childhood, I was very curious to know how it feels like to actually see a structure this famous and the Eiffel truly lived up to its hype, though I think it was shorter in height than what I had expected! This one was taken on the 31st night - thousands of people from across the globe, rain and the glittering tower. The dark clouds and the powerful lights on top of the tower added a lot of drama to the scene. Truly, a spectacle!
