      I am SO HAPPY that your photo is the first one on the thread. Magnificent capture and wonderful execution. Love it - an instant and hugely big Fave too! BRAVO

      Of course, I would say something like this because poenies are amongst my all time favourites.... And I can't have any here in Switzerland, it's just not mild enough in winter and also I haven't got a garden any more. Mine which are no longer mine because I planted them in the garden of our Victorian house in England and the house (with garden and peonies) is sold .... steady on, Kiki - OK, mine in England were just like this, glorious until the rain hit them, the beetles and what-have-you ate them (eating in the 'past form' - correct??) and when the wind had done its work, they usually were hanging their heads for a while or fell off....

      Anyway Christel, you gave me huge pleasure with this capture and I shall hasten to add it to my growing collection of delicious faves.
