The AIDS ward is my favourite place here. These cats have AIDS and are still some the most affectionate things.

What a gorgeous puss! Looks like a very sweet kitty :)

When I worked as a vet assistant, we had an owner who would shelter her cat at the hospital when she went on vacations. His name was Sam, and reminds me so much of this cat. Sam was an orange cat and only had one eye too. He was probabaly the most affectionate cat I had ever met. He use to rest and ride on my shoulder as I went about working too.

I hope this lovely cat gets a great home with lots of TLC!!!

Great portrait. More character than will fit in three buckets. I doubt that there is anyone viewing it who is not moved in the same way, even those like me who generally only comment on moody photos.

They have thier own type of AIDs, just like cancer, colds and other diseases. Not contagous to humans. She could still live relatively healthy for another 10 years.

There is a great article on it at:

A black patch and he could join the crew of pirates of the Carribean. Absolutely gorgeous shot. With all the bad news in the world, so good to know good things are happening and there are kind and wonderful people out there, too, taking care of the helpless.
