That's really interesting! Ours are just slimy green in NY. Do they all have the same shaped red patch, or are they different shapes?

I have just found one of these slugs in my garden, at Glenreagh on the north coast of NSW. I have a good photo of it and it is a different variation in colour to any I have seen on this page. It is a cream one with the red triangle and has a very prominent red stripe from the triangle down the back to the rear end. I am wondering if it is possible to add my photo to this page at all to see if anyone else has ever seen this same variation in colour. I was thrilled to find this beautiful curious creature living under the base of a bird bath on gravel covered in moss.
