Abeliophyllum distichum
Blooming today, March 27 2009. While not a true Forsythia, it bears a strong resemblance and similar bloom time. Has a lovely fragrance. Unfortunately it is a weak growing plant with a rather unappealing form -so far. I keep it as I love the flowers and scent.
