Looking down Zion canyon while hiking down the Emerald Pools trail. There's a fork where you can choose to walk above the lower pool or below it, and this was from the upper trail. This was the same trip as Milky Way Over Zion NP.
This time my poor friends didn't fall asleep, but I was continually running to catch up with them. What were they thinking hiking with a photographer? :-)
Shot with my Canon 7D and Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 at f/8. This is actually a two exposure blend shot hand held. 8 fps comes in handy for more than just sports.
