Keep Your Eye On The Ball

This shot was taken by my daughter (rumblemumbles) who I found sitting on the floor in our hallway to reduce reflections, taking shots of her own eyes.
If you look carefully, you can see her arms reflected in the iris holding the camera.

To me it just looks like a meteorite racing through space with a trail of streaks.

I had not look so closely at an eyeball before, and I thought she did a great job.

This is wonderful. If you crop just the pupil and blue iris you would be hard pressed to know it was an eye.
There is a group called For Your Eyes Only who would lve you to post this.

Fantastic shot, rumblemumbles. The iris is gorgeous -- and looks almost like a wooly fibre. Interesting to see that although the eyes are blue, it looks like there is a very thin brown ring around the pupil. I must try this myself! Hope it doesn't hurt!

That is some seriously intense detail Jim.... reminds me of some of Rankins work:
      www.rankin.co.uk/portfolio/specialprojects
Once the page has loaded scroll right about 1third... much more than that and it gets bit rude.

    24. Dick Edie (22 months ago | reply)

Ha, lol, I wonder how many of us managed to look only one third of the way along without having a peek. All of his photos are stunning and worth seeing, even the 'rude' ones.
