'Every day I look at the world from my window...

But chilly, chilly is the evening time
    Waterloo sunsets fine'

    The Kinks
    Waterloo Sunset (1967)

But I am not gazing on Waterloo Sunset. And i am not in paradise, either.

'Almost' straight from camera. A little Levels adjustment, sharpening and crop.

Incredible sky. Can't take my eyes away from it.

Thats an awesome sky...looks so surreal.

Just out of interest, where was it taken?

Looks like the weather is changing. Fantastic shot.

Citadelmonkey, this was taken tonight. Just spotted the sky while reading book on my settee and grabbed the shot. This is one of the rare occasions when my street looks somewhat attractive.

      Flickrway: Not in MY house!

Menage a Moi: the lights were on, but I thought the lights made the picture a bit more interesting and selectively 'saturated' the lights a bit.

Second chance: it was over in five minutes... this funny light didn't last long.

Pixel Chez... don't be too surprised if this looks rather drab during the day... it s atypical smalltown street!

David Amis: Cheers, I was dead lucky to be home so early.

Gunnar B: Thanks! I widh we had light like this every day, but I guess this rare super light makes it so special!

Very evocative and atmospheric. To me this aches with Sunday evening English melancholy.
