Taken on a mountain near my hometown, from which one has a great view.

No, this is not a magic place between two worlds, this is the miroir d'eau at Bordeaux in front of the city's place of the bourse.

It was fun jumping on the water mirror through the fog bank that appears every 30 minutes or so. We again went there during night - and I can assure you that our trousers weren't dry afterwards ;)

This is the amazing Cathedral of Strasbourg, where I was the last weekend before Christmas. It's really worth going there (not only because of the Cathedral ;), because Strasbourg somehow is a modern town with the EU-Parliament and a lot of nice shops in the center, but also offers the old borough "Petit France" to discover. Before Christmas there are Christmas markets throughout the town, which adds a special feeling.
