While staying at the Palazzo (attached to the Venetian) I decided to get up at 5am local to get some people-free shots of the main lobby of the Venetian. I was using a tripod and I was able to shoot for 10 minutes before security (very politely) asked me to stop.

I was amazed at the number of very well dressed drunk people walking around at 5am. At one point, while shooting, a nice lady in a very fancy dress told me that she thought I was “hot,” as she walked by. While, I am comfortable with my appearance, I have never been accused of looking hot before. I have heard of “beer goggles”. I am pretty sure she had the booze equivalent.

Here is a shot of magician Drew Thomas during his "Now You See It" show onboard the Freedom of the Seas. Excellent show. Very difficult to shoot.
