The Wikimedia Commons website offers a multitude of historical images with no restrictions on use. This image titled early stereo card of Germany, Hannover, old city hall, Köbelinger Strasse and Marktkirche was a challenge because silver density is very low (e.g. the print is "thin"). This early example of cha-cha (moving camera) stereo photography has been dated between 1857 and 1884. This either shows Hanover as a kingdom, if before 1866, or later as a Prussian province.
The gray curve was adjusted in picturewindow pro to compensate for missing shadow density..
