I've been waiting for it to snow all over Christmas as I wanted to 'wash' my Nudie Thin Finn's in the snow. So when it finally did the other weekend I had to do it.

Before rubbing them with snow they had a little whiff to them but that has now gone but they still feel exactly the same as before, no shrinkage or colour loss.

Star trail test through the window in the dining room. Turn out quite well i think considering I wasn't out in the wilderness.

I was a bit confused as to why the stars at the bottom are curving the opposite way until i realised it was lens distortion!

After reporting on Stone Island's development of a 'Hydrophobic' treatment back in October, Van Mildert can now announce that the first garment making use of this exciting new technology has arrived. I was given this the other day, and being a Nikon user probably have no use for it, but what is it??? Can anyone identify this UFO?
