Took a short drive along Northshore Rd near Lake Mead this afternoon and kept seeing so many wildflowers along the road. When I finally got the chance to shoot some my friend handed me his 135mm lens and suggested I drop down to F/2.0. Man that was freaking awesome!

This is one of the many reasons I love the outdoors. Mother Nature creates some of the coolest things you could ever want to see and often right in your own backyard.

Gotta love it when rock formations create faces in them that can seem a bit creepy.

Wasn't quite caffeinated enough to worry about getting a better shot. Welcome to a Saturday morning in our household. Hubby didn't get home from work until 1:30 am and was still kinda-sorta sleeping at 9:30 am. With the cats napping on my side and hubby covering his head with the comforter, I just couldn't resist snapping a shot.

Just so you know, it's your turn to do the dishes. Don't worry. I didn't make too much of a mess...this time. =) At least when making tacos it's relatively easy.
