Burst of fireworks

I took this while a light rain was falling, which explains the unwanted dots on the lens. However, with a stroke of luck, I managed to get the camera to focus and snap the burst of fireworks at just the right time. (Taken in Kingston, Ontario, Canada a few evenings ago.)

A gentle giant

Salyx is a 3-year-old cat that we recently adopted. He is so quiet and shy and really wimpy. It's just as well with claws like that.
