  • Xbox 360 hooked up to LG monitor via the VGA adapter. Sound and network running through my MacBook Pro.
  • One of my GameFly return envelopes.
  • 360's huge power brick.
  • LG 19" Widescreen monitor. Note: This is not an Acer monitor and not my old LG monitor. Stay tuned for more.
  • Just got back from Taco Bell. :-)
  • My old Windows computer is missing. It now stays in the basement acting as a FreeNAS server.

    if I were you, I'd open the lid on your MacBook after you've plugged in the external monitor. That way the heat dissipates better and will prevent disoloration and/or warping in your laptop's screen.

    I've thought of that, but I'm afraid I'll then be opening up for dust and dirt to get in between the keys. I have it on an Elevator, so it should be getting proper cooling.

    The laptop screen is not turned on, so not much heat will be generated.
    The heat goes out the top fans on a MacBook, so it should be fine.

    My LG monitor has both VGA (connected to 360) and DVI (connected to MacBook Pro) inputs.
