Even though it's only February, blossoms are appearing ... this tree is on the College of Marin campus, right outside the Austin Science Center.

I found a scene of splattered paint while wandering the construction site of the new Math & Sciences building at College of Marin. I enhanced the color, posterized it a bit, and then added the text.

I attended Nikon School again this year. It was my fifth year in a row attending the two-day session in Berkeley, and perhaps my tenth time overall (honestly, I've lost track). This year, I was chosen ("volunteered"?) to be the model for the flash demonstration that always happens on Day Two. (What? ME a model?!) This is one of the shots that resulted. Luckily, I had a computer with me, and I was allowed to download the files during the break. I'm pretty happy with the way this one turned out.
