Angus L. Macdonald Bridge

It's also known as "The Old Bridge", having opened on April 2, 1955. The new bridge, almost identical, The A. Murray MacKay Bridge opened on July 10, 1970. That one is also known as "The New Bridge"!

The Boxer

This is over the doors to Palooka’s Boxing Club on Gottingen Street in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Unfortunately, opened in 2008 as a way to help at-risk youth, the gym had to close. Shot this with the Hipstamatic app on my iPhone. DId a little contrast and vignetting processing and cropped it to this aspect ratio.
