Fresh from our cherry tree! We have to harvest them early before they totally ripen or else the birds will have a feast! This is the first year that we finally have a chance to really enjoy our cherries because somehow we learned how to outwit the birds for a change.

It's sad, but we had three nights of below freezing temperatures in April this year, so not a single cherry on our trees. But we have lots of blue berries just getting ripe. Your picture makes my mouth water.

@pioggia - the cherries we harvested were only around 3/4 of an inch diameter each, but it was big enough to enjoy eating it :-)
@ilovepics11 - i originally didnt plan to have it crossed-stem, but each cherries wont stand on its own, and both cherries ended up the way it look in the photo, which i do like how it came out
