Yesterday was a three-fer! My Hannah Kate's 14th birthday, Friends Jennifer and Donta Wilson welcomed their 3rd child, a beautiful daughter Audrey Violet to our world. The weather hasn't been that great this summer (so far) but who cares? Time goes so fast, too fast to observe things like bedtime. So, in our last stop of the day, babysitting my neice Vivian while her parents had a "Date Night", we threw bedtime out the window and blew some bubbles into the dusky sky. Ahh! Bliss, thy name is barefoot and bubbles in the grass :)

Back to posting! The kids and I went for a summer kick-off trip up north for Memorial Day weekend, and was surprised at the amount of flowers my Mom and Dad had coming up already, as this spring has been one of extremes, temperature wise. Our weekend was a bit rainy and chilly but these flowers continued their journey, ever reaching skyward and so my friends, do I :)

Can't quite find the mix I am looking for with some photoshop actions I downloaded. Not sure this is exactly what I meant to say with this, but I do know this: the Weatherman says it might be be 57 degrees today, and any Michigan day that reveals the promise of spring means an excuse to break out the flowers :)
