No matter how much I have grown as an amateur photographer over the past 3 years (and I think I have), this shot from August 2007 remains my most popular on Flickr: over 1500 views and 189 faves (add another 1100 views and 102 faves for the black and white version). Straight from a point-and-shoot 4 MPx camera, no post-processing, not even cropping.

I always thought it had (de)motivational poster potential as well, and finally I hit on a text that I think works pretty well - including the meme "You're doing it wrong".

      :)

      Two comments:

      1. It's better to be lucky than good (although you are good, too)
      2. It's a great poster. I love demotivational posters.
      3. You're doing it right.

      Okay, that was three comments.

Really, it's your eye that sets you apart. You see things I never would. That's why you make successful images, and this is merely one example.

How can I follow Andy's 'three for the price of one' comment?
Just by corroborating; yes, you are indeed 'doing it right'

Now - what about the print run of this postcard?

Impressive mood. Great lines, geometric elements. I think the 3 men are good spotted. The fog and the light are matching well with the strong geometry.

      Do you remember?
To come to an essential point: The cameras are only tools. You have to handle them!!!!
      Yes, you can!

Press the shutter, please some more times. Happy weekend!

The shot alone (without the poster) is awesome - love the depth, emotion and atmosphere. Fave!!!

      A magnificent photo, Hennie!
      The atmosphere is powerful.
It truly holds and captivates the eye.

This was one of my first ever faves. Looking at it again, I have no cause to regret that. Love the poster idea. Set it loose on the world.
And, yes, this image still makes me think of Magritte.
