The Fishing Pond, Gunnersbury Park

They say the camera never lies... This tranquil scene is deceptive- what you can't see are the high rise office blocks just behind the trees & what you can't hear is the thunder of traffic from the busy M4 motorway also behind the trees. And you wouldn't know that I had to stick my arms through railings so they wouldn't be in shot...But it's as near to nature I can get in my corner of London.

Sunday Rest

Just to reassure Cheryl & CG that not moping... Far from it... I've had a lovely day enjoying my new rocking chair in my newly decorated room, reading & talking to both my kids. They amuse me- time spent talking to daughter... 1 1/2 hours & she could have carried on. Time talking to son- 15 minutes & that was pushing it! :-)
