Treasured.

This is a letter from my Great Uncle Daniel to his sister, Lena. It was written in 1915 while he was fighting in World War I, shortly before he was killed in battle. In it he admonishes his sister for writing him a letter that wasn't a proper letter from a "brave Irish girl to her soldier brother". He talks about his pride in serving his country, and about the fine Irish dinner Lena would serve him and my grandfather when he returned home.
