This is a combination of long exposures in the dimly lit interior of the vast Big Room inside Carlsbad Caverns in Southern New Mexico. It is located 750 feet underground in the Guadalupe Mountains.

This is a combination of long exposures in the dimly lit interior of the vast Big Room inside Carlsbad Caverns in Southern New Mexico. It is located 750 feet underground in the Guadalupe Mountains.
This particular area was on interest to me due to the vibrant underground stream running through the cavern.

*Because this panorama is very large I have divided it into 3 pieces.

This has taken me nearly a year to complete in pieces. The panorama combines around 70 exposures (11 vertial hdrs were stitched together to create the skyline in addition to varioius detail shots).
This was taken looking West along East Solidarity Drive near the Adler Planetarium and spans from The Field Museum to Navy Pier.
