I've seen bear poop after the bear had eaten blueberries and it had a purplish-blue color with undigested seeds scattered within. Could the pink be from Salmonberries ?? I remember seeing them in the Cascade Mts.

Actually it is a combination of berries. Rosehips and High-bush Cranberries cause the pink.
