A Cooling Fan of Silver Certificates

Unlike the currency of today, these were backed in silver. I got them as a kid, back in 1957 - for a buck each at the bank.

The only thing better would have been four silver dollars. And sometimes I got those instead - nice uncirculated Morgan silver dollars from the 1880s, struck from .900 fine silver, and also one buck each at the bank.

1914 Durango - 1 Centavo - Aluminum

Not often do you see an aluminum coin!

Although I have owned this piece for many years, I really don't know much about it. I would love to know more about this coin -- does anyone have any information?
