I was thrilled to get this shot with the Santa Fe Smoke stack included.

If you see a madman dumping buckets of water on the sidewalk at the San Bernardino Santa Fe Depot, that's me!

It's not often that there are standing puddles of water around the San Bernardino Santa Fe Depot and it isn't often that I'm there to see a Union Pacific locomotive parked or passing slowly by on the closest BNSF tracks. I wasn't quick enough to get the shot I wanted around the nearby light standard, so I had to take some artistic license in Photoshop.

I had fun shooting this, but had to lay in the center of the road for it. I was expecting someone to rush out of one of the nearby buildings wondering if I was ok. It had to look a little strange, but only to non photographer types.

The graduated blur / vingetting in the Loftus lens is so cool.
