Walking Stick Head - (Phasmatodea)

Not terribly exciting, but an interesting find nonetheless. These guys are neat to watch, they move so strangely. Their arms are shaped to form with their head so that their "stick" imitation is nice and streamlined. (See photos below).

I'm not familiar with walkingsticks, so I can't really pin down a species or gender unfortunately. Regardless, he/she is in the order Phasmatodea, which includes all walkingsticks. I don't see these guys too often, so it's a fun encounter for me. The head has kind of a lazy, disinterested look to it. Also, the eyes kind of remind me of scoops of ice cream.

For those of you interested, I recently took part in an interview for Photograview, which can be found here.
