• original stem & bars used as seat clamp
  • orig bars cut down for foot pegs
  • PVC elbow. A one-foot length plugs into this with a "T" on top. A blinding Dinotte taillight sits atop that.
  • P-clamps & mirror hangers FTW!

Yeah, my brother pointed out the chain length as soon as he saw it. It could stand to lose a few links. I'm still tweaking the bike, so that's on the list.

It looks god with the big wheels.

Is the rearwheel also 29" ? And how big is the tire?
    I wonder how it fits...

Sorry for the misleading lack of info. Xtracycle makes a 700c kit that in theory would accomodate a 29" wheel, but I've got the 26" kit, with a 26" MTB wheelset. There's a 2.5" tire up front and a 2" in back. (a 2.5" in back was too fat for chain clearance.) So far, no problems with fit affecting the ride.

The company is vague on road bike conversions. I need to get back on my bike. Complicating things is my recent MINI Cooper purchase...
