Checkers and tags

I love the SK vintage tags and labels print! But it's really hard to capture the lime-y green fabric without looking puke-ish.

    Thanks Tamiko!
I've been hesitant to post photos of this quilt because I couldn't get the lime-green to show just right.

Thank you so much, Kerry. I used to be afraid of on point layout and I don't really know why. I was just intimidated by it. o__O But now I prefer it. I found that I don't have to make as many blocks as I would have if I use a regular (straight rows) layout.
Thanks, Isa. I'm constantly struggling with mixing colors together. That's why I tend to use a whole collection in my quilt because the hard part is already done for me. Hehehe!
Me neither! But I thought i'd give it a try andI really like it. :)
Thanks! Took a leap of faith to do something outside the box. It opened my eyes to new ideas and possibilities.
Thank you! I feel in love with this color and print the first I saw this fabric irl. I'm still struggling with the color purple but I'm getting there.
Thank you! So happy I make you feel that way. <333

I too love on-point - for me it adds just a bit more to the design & you are so right about using less blocks!

Doing the FW QAL really opened my eyes to blocks on point, gives a dynamic feel to a quilt
