Peters Tower - bathroom view

Luckily on Wednesday afternoon I was in the tower while the sun shone, so I could take some decently lit photographs of the views from some of the windows.

Come in - but beware of the Hound!

profJohn assures me that this house was the Bed & Breakfast place where we stayed last time we were on Dartmoor, in September 1972. I have always remembered the dark and stormy night there when I was reading a scary book in bed and it took all the courage I could find to nip across the landing to the loo. To get there I had to go down some steps from the door of our room into a dark abyss, and then go up a similar flight to the bathroom. Naturally the return trip was a repeat of the horror. Luckily I was reading "The War of the Worlds" rather than "The Hound of the Baskervilles".
