After renting a car and driving from Argentina to Chile, I camped for 3 days in snow and heavy winds before the storm finally eased up... This pano was made from several vertical images taken with the new Canon 70-300L IS. The final image is 175 megapixels.

I know I have been posting a bunch of B&W images lately, but I'm just getting around to processing some work from my trip. Guilin is a place that I didn't really encounter colorful skies, but the landscape is one of a kind.

I have recently come across some exceptional work from a gentleman out of Indonesia, who has inspired me to try more B&W. I will link his work here next time when I'm not being so lazy...

This place has some amazing views and lots of farming going on, but it's full of trash, and stray dogs. The dog problem in Bali is serious, as a lot of them have Rabies and you have to be careful. The problem is that so many dog owners can not afford the vaccination. And some people have so many dogs that they can not even pay for the dog food. Very sad situation for the dogs and the people that get bitten by them.

Besides this dog problem and lots of snakes, Bali is a very beautiful place and very special to me.
